Oh the audacity of it all..
Due to unavoidable chats with a few friends, it has come to my attention that my Harry Potter review needs a little fine tuning.
I do agree with Acap that there are parts of the movie that may be slightly incomprehensible to audiences who have not been indulging in the book version of the movie. There are also a few scenes that, regrettably, did not make its way to the movie. Scenes which I thought to be pivotal to the construction of the story.
I stand by my thoughts on the quality of the movie but I guess my 5/5 rating of it may be a bit off.
So, I have decided to use the 'In-case-of-emergency' option, which is to use a rating system of over 10.
Here it is - 8/10 !
You may say that I could have just used a 4/5 but I think that that would have made the distance between a 5/5 and the 4/5 too close.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is an exceptional movie but due to understandable situations and causes failed to rise to greater heights.
