Reminiscing...

Aaah.. Braybrook College.. How I miss thee and the pants I wore to school instead of the long (and not to mention irritating) skirts I had to wear in Malaysia.. May the memory of you stay with me forever..(getting a tad bit emo right now, LOL)

Some of my old classmates

Suddenly started thinking about the friends I left behind in Melbourne.

Miss you guys tonnes! XOXOX

Fwuuih! *wipes forehead*

Hey,

Well the 8-hour classes aren't as bad as I potrayed them to be.

Basically, there are 7 periods each lasting 50 minutes. There's 2 periods before a half-hour break then 3 periods then a one hour lunch then 2 more periods then it's done.

My new classmates seem alright though even after a week I still don't really know all of them. There's 6 girls- me, Si Gee, Soon Kie, Ira, Mira and Nez and the other 13 are boys. Apparently, once again, my class is the noisiest out of all the classes. Seems that noisy and hyperactive people attract each other.

Oh, I read online somewhere that the JPA Japanese programme is for Bumiputeras only. This is so WRONG! I think like half of my batch is made up of Chinese students. There are also Indian students and even Iban here.

Reality Sinks In

Today, just finished the 2 weeks of 'japanese language lessons only' thing. Starting next Monday(Gyatsuyobi), I'll start following the normal timetable of 8-4pm.

Sounds dreadful!

For some of the classes during the 8-12pm period I could barely stay awake! Imagine what I'd be doing if the classes ran all the way to 4pm?!?! (I have to wake up at 5.30am everyday, it explains the lack-of-sleep-ness)

However, I will preservere! I have to! (But damn! 4?!?)

The life I had with old school friends is kinda fizzling out because everybody's off to somewhere whether it be matrix, upu thing, form 6, work and etc. I miss all of you! :(

Oh, I've also moved to a different class. Less students than my old one which is good BUT it happens to come complete with a dreadfully annoying 'thing'. Yes, 'thing'. Calling 'it' human right now would be an embarassment to the rest of the humans out there. Well, hopefully I'll start to see some good in 'it' or so help me God I will start learning Japanese swear words just for 'it'!

Friends, if you're reading this "Good luck in whatever you're doing right now(whether it be legal or not. Jk.) and if you see me on the lrt at least wave at me ok? Or I'll start waving like mad to you and call out your name as loudly as I humanly can. We wouldn't want that now would we? Huge embarassment in such a public place? I thought so."

Catching Up

Hey!

Well, it's been a surprisingly calming two weeks. I had orientation for 3 days. Learnt about what PPKTJ and UTM is all about and the scope of what we'll be stuyding in the first two weeks in class.

So far, I've had Japanese lingo lessons for about a week and a half. I learnt how to construct basic sentences, how to tell and ask for time, how to introduce myself and about a hundred new vocabs. We also had a test everyday to make sure we understood everything that went on in the class the day before. So far so good.

The teachers seem really upbeat and they definitely make the class less boring. Especially Hasegawa-sensei. He's a riot. I think all the chinese girls have a crush on him. :p

On Friday (16/5), our senpais did a few shows to celebrate Teacher's Day. It was fun and the Japanese teachers seemed to enjoy it, which is what matters.

We kouhais were only invited to watch though me, Laily(my roommate), Izzati(my toilet-mate),Sii Gee(has a crush on Hasegawa-sensei),San(classmate) and Danial(classmate) were bestowed the honour of being given the privilige to present fresh roses to our year 1 senseis! It was so cool!

My classes will only be from 8-12 till next friday, then the week after that, our normal schedules will be handed out and we'll have classes from 8-4!! This semester I'll be studying English, Japanese, Maths and Physics. Chemistry doesn't start till 2nd semester.

ps/ senpai = seniors
kouhais = juniors
sensei = teachers

Regristration Day (5/5/'08)

In 2 days time, I will be regristering at Pusat Persediaan Kajian Teknikal ke Jepun or better known as PPKTJ which is located at UTM on Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur.

So basically, I'm freaking out! :p

I'm nearly done with all of my shopping but there's still a few more stuff that I need to buy. I still haven't packed anything though.

Since I'm not sure about the avaibility of computers and internet access at my new place, I probably won't be updating anytime soon. :(

To cap this off, I would like to wish everyone GOOD LUCK in whatever it is you are or will be pursuing.
